Technical assistance activities develop school staff to support Healthy and Ready to Learn programing and outcomes. Healthy and Ready to Learn assists school teams with implementation of the comprehensive school program aimed at creating trauma-sensitive school environments and bridging the gap between health and learning.

Healthy and Ready supports a school-based team at PS49 in the South Bronx. The site manager and mental health clinician work to identify and address health barriers to learning; support attendance teams; coordinate vision and dental services; expand behavioral health counseling; and provide professional development and learning opportunities for staff and families. Healthy and Ready to Learn works intensively with four additional schools in New York, delivering technical assistance that aims to assist school teams with implementation of the Healthy and Ready to Learn comprehensive school program.
