“Prioritizing children’s healthcare is as crucial as ever, as lack of insurance, geographical barriers, pandemic fallout, poverty, and other social drivers of health threaten the well-being of children across the country,” said Donald H. Layton, Children’s Health Fund Board chair. “Committed and skillful governance will help us respond to children’s needs now and in the future, and we are honored to welcome these two esteemed leaders to the Children’s Health Fund Board of Directors.”

As a partner at Siegel & Reiner, Craig Gold leads the firm’s corporate transactional practice, counseling clients on a range of commercial matters and issues related to their day-to-day operations, and has particular experience representing buyers, sellers, and lenders across the finance, real estate, communications, and not-for-profit sectors. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

“As a longtime supporter and friend of CHF, I believe deeply in this organization’s mission to bring healthcare to children in areas where it is most out of reach,” said Gold. “I am grateful for the opportunity to more thoroughly support this work at this crucial time.”

“CHF has been fortunate to have benefited from Mr. Gold’s expert advice and guidance for several years. We are thrilled to now have his knowledge and experience to help lead our work from the inside as a member of our board of directors,” said Arturo Brito, Children’s Health Fund president and CEO.
