$1 Million Grant from Morgan Stanley Funds Health Care for Kids


The grant will help fund our health programs in four cities, including pediatric care in Miami.

Some great volunteers from Sanofi US helped out at our Fall Harvest Festival for kids last week in Washington, DC!

Several volunteers helped make tasty and healthy smoothies for snack time. Others used their artistic skills to paint the children’s faces with butterflies, snakes, Hello Kitties and other designs.

Touring one of our mobile medical clinics often seems to be the best way to understand what Children’s Health Fund is about. When you see how efficiently the Big Blue Buses use every inch of space to bring health care to kids, you can feel both the passion and the careful planning that fuel our programs around the country.

Sanofi US Fills Backpacks for School Success


We’re lucky to have great, hands-on support from companies like Sanofi US. Last week, as part of the "Sanofi Season of Solidarity," 115 Sanofi US executives gathered to put together backpacks with school supplies for students at PS 140, The Eagle School, in the Bronx. That’s one of our the three schools where we’re piloting Healthy and Ready to Learn, our program aimed at overcoming health barriers that keep children from succeeding.

Going the extra mile to help kids is nothing new for Dr. John Carlson. As Medical Director of our mobile program in New Orleans, Dr. Carlson spends his days riding the “Big Blue Bus” to schools and community centers to see his patients.

With Us for the Journey


When Bill Shore bid on a Dubai and Maldives vacation package in our recent fundraising auction, he was motivated by much more than a fabulous trip to far-flung destinations. Since the package was generously donated by Emirates Airline and Jumeirah Hotels, Shore knew the proceeds would go directly to funding health care for children.

Shore has been a Children’s Health Fund supporter since he first encountered us some 15 years ago.

Samsung Volunteers Pitch in to Help Kids


Samsung held its first-ever day of service in the U.S. last week—and we’re proud to be among the charities they chose to help!

In Dallas, about 20 volunteers assembled goodie bags with toys for our young mobile medical clinic patients.

In New York City, more than 25 Samsung employees helped paint the daycare center of our community partner, the Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Center.
