The Children’s Health Fund is dedicated to meeting the complex and challenging health needs of underserved children. We partner with major academic medical centers to deliver care to disadvantaged children in rural and urban areas. We also use our unique experience and insights to be a voice for children in need, advocating for policies and public programs that remove roadblocks to quality health care for all children.
![]() The core of CHF’s services is providing comprehensive health care to underserved children. Through our unique mobile medical units and fixed-site clinics, we offer a “medical home” to thousands of children each year. |
CHF is a familiar and respected presence on Capitol Hill and in many state capitals around the country, promoting policies to address health care barriers we see in the field every day. We educate and advocate on issues from transportation roadblocks to insurance gaps that prevent children from getting the care they need. |
CHF’s special initiatives target needs that frequently affect medically underserved children, such as asthma, type 2 diabetes and obesity. Other programs address lack of access to specialist care and early development.
