Children's Health Fund Announces Strategic Funding Partnership With Verizon Foundation

The announcement was made in conjunction with the 4th annual mHealth Summit in Washington, D.C., where Children's Health Fund and Verizon presented a mobile clinic on the convention center floor to demonstrate the ways in which we are pioneering applications of Health Information Technology to improve care for children in economically disadvantaged communities and help reduce health care disparities. In its first year of a two-year commitment, Verizon Foundation is granting $530,000 and access to innovative technology through Verizon Enterprise Solutions to Children’s Health Fund in order to launch six mobile health pilot initiatives across the United States.
