Children’s Health Fund deeply appreciates the corporations and organizations who help us serve vulnerable children across the country through their gifts of products and services. Donations have included medications and medical supplies used on mobile medical clinics; books and personal hygiene items distributed to patients and at health education events; and pro-bono services, including media placement and creative assistance. For more information, contact Carol Sumkin, Senior Vice President, Development at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We would like to thank our major In-kind donors:
Henry Schein Cares, the global corporate social responsibility program of Henry Schein that "helps health happen" by expanding access to care for underserved communities, partnered with Children's Health Fund in 2009 to supply health care providers in various communities around the country with essential medical supplies. Children's Health Projects in Austin, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; Newark, NJ; Los Angeles, CA; Harlem, NY; Orlando, FL; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; West Virginia; Coastal Mississippi; and Clarkesdale, MS received pallets of medical supplies that they use every day in caring for their patients.
As he unpacked a shipment of items as commonplace as tongue depressors and exam table paper, Dr. Randy Christiansen of Children's Health Fund's Phoenix Children's Health Project said, "It was like Christmas when the shipment came — every dollar we save on supplies is a dollar we can spend on other patient needs."
The Molina Foundation helps children enjoy reading through their generous donation of 20,000 books to Children's Heatlh Fund's programs in New York City. At the end of each health care visit, our doctors give books to patients and their siblings.
In addition, we would like to thank the following companies for their In-kind gifts:
