Campaigns for Change

The People’s Operator (TPO) was founded on the idea that mobile could be used to change lives for the better. Customers with TPO not only get the best deals, high quality mobile service and great customer service – they can also direct 10% of their monthly mobile spend to the cause of their choice—such as Children's Health Fund—at no extra cost to them.

TPO launched in the UK in 2012 and expanded to the US in July 2015. Since its UK launch, TPO customers have directed funds to hundreds of causes and in the US, TPO has partnered with a range of causes with missions that include conservation, children’s health, animal welfare and education, among others.  Under the direction of TPO Chairman and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, TPO has also developed the TPO Community, an online community to expand the global network of mobile phone customers who share in the common belief of supporting causes.  Visit for more information.

TYLENOL®: Smiling It Forward campaign

Inspired by the heartwarming smile of a child, and the millions of photos that moms proudly post online of their children every day, the TYLENOL® team developed the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign. This dynamic cause marketing promotion encouraged parents to visit to upload a photo that makes them smile, with each “smile” shared triggering a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund. In the first few months of launch the program attracted extensive media attention, raising public awareness of the Children's Health Fund national network and our efforts to make sure kids are healthy and ready to learn. Thank you, TYLENOL®!
