Principios EL.E.M.E.NT.AL.ES. de la Salud (ELaborando Estrategias Metódicas y EducaTivas para los ALumnos de EScuela) es un proyecto dedicado a la entrega de material educativo sobre salud en lenguaje simple, ameno y culturalmente relevante destinado a los niños de escuelas de enseñanza primaria y media. Los folletos en inglés y español fueron creados por trabajadores de la salud del National Children’s Health Project Network de Children’s Health Fund.

My Hurricane Safety Plan: Parent's Guide

This brochure is targeted at parents and caregivers.  The Parent Guide offers tips on how families can prepare and help their children during the hurricane season, and give them a sense of control, security and confidence during a hurricane.  My Hurricane Safety Plan was developed by clinicians and staff from the New Orleans Children’s Health Project and was supported by a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

My Hurricane Safety Plan: A Child's Checklist

This brochures is targeted at parents and caregivers.  My Family Disaster Plan offers tips and suggestions on how a family can think ahead and plan ahead for any disaster including putting a plan together that addresses water and food needs, shelter and supplies, communication and the community.  My Family Disaster Plan was developed by experts from the NationalCenterfor Disaster Preparedness (NCDP) at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and was supported by a grant from “Idol Gives Back.”

Resources for Healthy Eating: Guide to Central Harlem

This food guide was created for the practical use of the residents of Central Harlem. It was meant to be a tool in developing a healthy eating lifestyle. The guide begins with useful nutritional information that will show you how you can begin to make healthy food choices. This is followed by a directory of over 50 food establishments including supermarkets, farmer’s markets, restaurants, and juice bars.
