NYC: Shop for a Good Cause

Treasure&Bond net profits from sales will be donated to Children's Health Fund

For all girls or guys living or visiting New York City, who love shopping as much as I do or who need to get a jump start on holiday shopping, I have exciting news for you: your shopping extravaganzas can now help Children’s Health Fund programs bring health care to poor and homeless children. How you ask? Well, there is a new boutique called treasure&bond located at 350 West Broadway (between Broome and Grand) that is bringing together the retail and philanthropy worlds. Starting in August of 2011, treasure&bond is donating 100% of their net profits to eight different non-profit organizations benefitting children of New York City. For the months of November, December, and January, net profits from sales will be donated to Children's Health Fund and the Coalition for the Homeless.

I was lucky enough to visit the store last week, and it is awesome! They have everything from women’s, men’s, and kids’ apparel, to jewelry and handbags to household items. What I also found really neat is that a ton of the merchandise is one-of-a-kind. So grab your friends, head down to West Broadway and start your holiday shopping early at treasure&bond. And while you are there, take a photo and post it on our Facebook page or send us a tweet to let us know you are shopping for a good cause!
