Going to Bat for Kids Who Are Often Forgotten

Meet Mary Alice Schiller, a proud Children’s Health Fund Yankees Home Run Club member for over 20 years. Schiller was first introduced to Children’s Health Fund when she heard about Yankees’ first baseman Don Mattingly’s commitment to the organization through this unique fundraising initiative. It was a win-win for Schiller. At the time, Mattingly was one of her favorite Yankee players and she was also looking for a way to give back to children in America who are often forgotten. With a pledge of just $1 per home run she joined Children’s Health Fund’s Yankees Home Run Club “I’m not a fabulously wealthy philanthropist, nor am I incredibly famous or the CEO of a multinational company; I’m your average full-time worker wanting to give something back to children in need.” Schiller explained.

Whether you’re a Yankee fan or not, you can still rally for kids and become a Home Run Club member like Schiller. You can make a one-time gift or donate a certain amount per home run. Either way you’ll ensure children have access to important and lifesaving medical care. Join the Yankees Home Run Club sponsored by Delta Air Lines today!
