CHF Partnership Aims to HEAL New Orleans Kids Suffering from Asthma

Saturday, October 22 — CHF joined representatives from Xavier University of Louisiana, Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, the Merck Childhood Asthma Network and the City of New Orleans Department of Health to announce the launch of the Head-off Environmental Asthma in Louisiana (HEAL), Phase II Project. CHF's New Orleans Children's Health Project will work with Xavier and Daughters of Charity to bring quality asthma care and management to kids and families in the New Orleans area. Given that asthma rates in the city of New Orleans are among the highest in the nation, it is this partnership will help improve the lives of some of New Orleans' most vulnerable residents, kids with asthma.
